A Literatual study on the Skin in HWANG JE-NAE KYEUNG

Abstract
The results were obtained as follows: 1. The skin in Oriental Medicine is the tissue located at the most outside of the body, which first reacts to the Yuk-gi(ë»Ñ¨) of nature. 2. Sagi(Þ÷Ѩ) don¡¯t react to the skin until passes the Homo(ûÆÙ¾), Hangong(ùÒÍî) and Juli(ÁÖ¸®). 3. The concept of the skin in Oriental Medicine includes Homo(ûßÙ¾), Hangong(ùÒÍî), Juli(ÁÖ¸®), Hair, Mustache, Nail and also coincides with that of modern medicine. 4. The skin is connected with each other systematically through the internal the Five Vital Organs and the Six Viscera and Kyung-Maek (ÌèØæ), and fulfills its function by dividing whole body into twelve portion. 5. In the Five Vital Organs and the Six Viscera, lung and skin are corresponding to the Heaven, also interacts with each other.
